    Cancelling an Xbox purchase transaction


    I need to cancel an xbox transaction - my daughter has purchased for download a game we already own. I want to 1) Cancel the transaction and get a refund and 2) Remove my credit card details from my acct so there can be no auto purchasing on the acct in
    future.

    How do I achieve this?

    Pretty sure you might have to dispute the charge if you got charged more then once

    Never spam the pay option. Always go look and make sure it's gone through on both ends or else you'll end up paying each click you submitted.

    for any billing issues or refund requests you will need to contact Xbox Support (By Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) They are the only ones that can determine if a refund is in order or not.

    To contact them use
    support.xbox.com/contact-us     Be aware that the options shown are based on the issue selected.

    I bought call of duty Cold War a while ago

    All your transactions actually reflect in your order history even cancelled and declined transactions.

    Please also make sure you check "All purchases" but if it's really not there then it was definitely purchased using another account.

    Double check your transactions at http://account.microsoft.com to make sure the transaction went through. If it doesn't show or shows as cancelled, you would still need to purchase
    the game.

    I go to buy some games and I see this error but my card was charged.

    It’s automatic. If the transaction fails you should be able to see the chargeback / charge cancellation after a couple hours.

    It’s not a common thing having a purchase cancelled. But when that happens is just a matter of time
