    Windows Play Anywhere and moving from physical to digital edition game

    I purchased Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition in physical copy and installed it on my Xbox One, but had misunderstood that play anywhere would only work with the digital version. I would really like to take this for a spin on my PC, but would like to take
    advantage of the play anywhere features and shared progress but do not want to buy a second copy of Ultimate Edition.

    If I buy just the base digital game, will all of the Ultimate Edition features carry over?

    The case is, I bought the Gears of War ultimate edition Xbox Bundle, on the games website it says that I would have total access to the Gears of War collection for The 360. I couldn't find the games anywhere on my Xbox one, I already finished the Ultimate
    edition, and I would like to play the 360 Gears. Support told me I need To be in invited to be able to play those games. Is that really necessary? if the amount of invites is limited why Microsoft is selling these bundles? Here's the page of the game:
