Canceling Subscription and refund

My boyfriend let me use his Paypal last month for a $1 Gold deal, but we forgot to cancel the automatic renewal so this months was taken out when it wasn't wanted. Is there any way we could get this refunded?

here regarding billing and refund issues. You can also talk to them about canceling the subscription.

You would need to contact support but they generally do not refund 1 month subscriptions. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
support.xbox.com/contact-us

You could also try to refund the subscription and purchase it again after the refund. To cancel a subscription and ask for a refund, please go to:

https://account.microsoft.com/services

- Select Manage next to the subscription you want to cancel.

- Select Cancel subscription or Turn off recurring billing.

- Select Cancel immediately and get a refund.

You're entitled to a refund of your most recent recurring billing charge if you cancel your subscription within 30 days after payment. This refund right is limited to one time per Microsoft account, per Xbox subscription product. This means if you've refunded a recurring billing charge for Game Pass before, you aren't eligible to refund it again.
