    Canceling Gold subscription whilst having to pay for overdue charges


    Hey everyone,

    I've recently been trying to cancel my gold subscription, but I have overdue charges on it. I withdrew all my money from my debit card, therefore I wouldn't have enough to pay for the next month's bill. Auto-renew was on, and it is saying that I must pay
    the charge and I can't cancel my subscription. Is there any way to force cancel my subscription? I really don't want to pay for the overdue charges, and besides, I got a Gold gift card so I would be using that one. Thanks

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/     have an amount in red and "pay now" near it?

    If so, that's an overdue subscription and you must pay for the gold you've used as it has tried to take a payment but could not.

    An overdue subscription prevents you from taking the card off, cancelling subscriptions (they will not keep charging though) and also prevents codes from being entered. If this is so, you must pay via credit/debit/paypal/bank account.

    Contact Us | Xbox Support However you will most likely have to pay the overdue charges before you will be able to add a prepaid card.

    Can't cancel Xbox Game Pass subscription.

    If you have overdue charges you have to pay them to renew/cancel any subscription. Only way to pay them is with CC/debit card or paypal. Once you paid that you can cancel normally again.

    Unfortunately you are not able to use any codes for your account or cancel the subscription service, until the overdue subscription charges has been payed.

    If you have overdue charges you need to pay them before you can use a new xbox live gold code.
    It was set to auto-renew but couldnt due to the expired card. How are are there any overdue charges as it couldnt renew the subscription.
