Canceling Game Pass Subscription doesn't work for a couple of days

When i am trying to cancel my Xbox Game Pass subscription it shows error. I was trying to do this many times for a couple of days and still get the error. I wan't to cancel it before January 23, because then it will go for another month of subscription and I
don't really enjoyed that much of the games. Sadly: I cannot contact with technical support via chat - it simply doesn't work (and it did in the past...). The very sad thing is I've also tried a workaround and remove my Visa Card information from account
but...it says I must first cancel my Game Pass subscription (!). To give more information: I was able to cancel painlessly my Xbox Live Gold subscription. If the problem won't fix before 23 January I won't renew anymore any of Xbox subscriptions anymore.

Game Pass Box on Xbox One Dashboard

A couple of days ago a box appeared on my Xbox One dashboard saying to renew my Game Pass subscription because it would expire in less than 7 days.

Today that box says I have 3 days left on my Game Pass subscription.

Problem is...my subscription doesn't expire until 8/30/2018.

Any ideas or just let it run its course?

the best option left is to contact Xbox Support via Phone, see the details on the following link and make sure the correct region is showing in the bottom left corner to make sure the correct regional data is shown:

They should be able to help you sort the issue

I don't really wan't to contact via phone for one, simple reason: it will cost me more than subscription reneval. Last time I chat with the support on a simple issue (game pad replacement wasn't send because someone didn't do this from Microsoft crew) it
took an hour for one chat. And sadly: i had to do this twice... Don't really wan't the same situation.

Sign in to your account at account.microsoft.com and check your order history.

Even when you enter a code in like this it will still show in your order history and make sure that it is showing the code that you entered in was for 12 month subscription.

Also when you go to that website and look at your subscriptions the does it show that it was a 12 month xbox live subscription that was cancelled in the last couple of days or does it show maybe a different subscription like ultimate game pass that was cancelled
in the last couple of days?

Okay, well I cancelled the standard subscription and upgraded to the Ultimate subscription, and it still doesn't work. Now what?

Also I cant tell if you work for Microsoft or not, but if you do, you should really make it clear on the windows store that the standard subscription doesn't work on PC. Especially because it is literally called XBOX GAME PASS FOR PC.

if you upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate that would have cancelled the separate subscription for Gold as it is included in Ultimate (it would also cancel the basic Game Pass for the same reason)

if you then cancelled Game Pass Ultimate it would have the effect of cancelling Gold (and the basic Game Pass).

it is odd that you still have basic Game Pass though.

you should be able to request a refund on the basic Game Pass if you only just renewed it and then use the credit to purchase Gold.

if that doesn't work you will need to talk to someone from Subscriptions and Billing.

go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us then click on the green Contact Us button

click in the Select an Option window and select
Subscriptions and Billing

then select either I Want to Request a Refund or I Want to Buy a Subscription.
