I don't see the issue, I am getting the game to play it. I wont let one sided marketing, a greed and timed exclusivity on DLC ruin my gaming experience. I am buying the game for the story, the gameplay and the fun to be had with friends.

It's kind of funny to see Microsoft fans complaining about DLC exclusivity. Just because you don't play CoD doesn't mean it doesn't exist and Microsoft has been doing the exclusive DLC dance for a while now. Bethesda always releases first on Microsoft
too. You can't win them all - and this is no reason to cancel a preorder.

^^I agree partially. Timed content isnt new but please tell me what timed content is exclusive to xbox for a year?

Yet Sony does even worse with Assassin's Creed exclusive DLC that is only available on their systems. If it wasn't timed exclusive, then I can see being a little upset but it will be available and it isn't even much DLC anyway.

how about a full game release? bioshock for one, and i think mass effect 2 took a long time to come to ps3, not to mention mass effect...

In all reality, both consoles do this exact type of thing all the time. This nothing new. It's all done in an effort to drive sales of one console or another. It seems somewhat hypocritical to complain when PS does it but be okay with it when Xbox does
it. Complain equally about both doing this type of thing and then the complaints might carry weight. Honestly though, it doesn't bother me in the least. If early or exclusive console based content were that important to me, I would buy both consoles.

As a multi platform player I can't ever re-call getting the wambulance when XB got exclusive DLC way before. Maybe you should give the code to someone less upset?

From what I've read in the past, they have personal gripes that involve MS. They're probably just exercising the ability to do something they were never allowed to do before.

The way I understand it is that Activision and Bungie already have us xbox fans on lock down. Now they are going for the ps crowd.

I really don't think the exclusive content is going to be anything worth arguing about. Getting the 'beta' a week earlier is insignificant.

Go back to gamestop and pre-order it.

All Sony have is a "Timed Exclusive".

They basically paid so that other people had to wait.

You'll still have fun in Destiny and you'll know if the DLC is worth throwing any money at thanks to PS 4 users Beta Testing it for us.
