Discus and support Canceled updates uninstalled games why? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So i canceled a couple of updates for BFV and warzone and the system uninstalled both games.     Canceled updates uninstalled games why?


    So i canceled a couple of updates for BFV and warzone and the system uninstalled both games. Its fricken stupid as hell. It took me 3 weeks to install both the first time. I think microsoft needs to fix this bug or issue or make it known in bold letters
    says the xbox one sucks a fat one and system is garbage. Like i feel like you need to reimburse me on the games and time it took to install them. I know you wont cause you dont care about customer service. Im at the point now where F microsoft. Sell and buy
    ps5. This system is **** like the company

    Updates Are Reinstalling Entire Games

    It happens quite often if there is an update that is already in progress and you cancel it, as if you uninstall the game and it is uninstalled, I do not know why it is. It has already happened to me once. Watch that.

    Was there an update for the game, and did you cancel it?

    If so, then that may be why you have to reinstall the game. After selecting "Cancel all", there should've been a prompt that says:

    Clear the queue?

    Canceling installations and updates might uninstall the items in question. Anything being moved or copied will remain in its original location.

    it's possible that they are uninstalling because an update for the game(s) cancelled as that will uninstall the game.

    Lol good one. I must say my post didn't request any help. Only people who have experienced this can reply. I own 30+ consoles, from the NES to the Atari jaguar...nobody knows about consoles here more than me..this is a big issue no other modern console has.

    Update/cancel game uninstall

    Never cancel an update, only ever pause it.
    Cancelling it results in the entire game being deleted, thus requiring a complete new download of the whole game again.
