Canceled pre-order game rights won't revert.

A little over a month ago I pre-ordered the game Party Hard on my XBox One. A couple of days later I found out another game was coming out that I was more interested in so I decided to cancel my pre-order of Party Hard. So I contacted Microsoft
and I was able to get my credit back and everything was fine. However, according to my "ready to install" section of my games it shows that I still have ownership of Party Hard.

I have contacted MS support about this twice already, and both times I was told the rights would eventually revert, but...like I said before it has been over a month now and the rights have not gone away.

The reason that this is an issue for me is because I am still interested in getting Party Hard, but...the option for me to purchase it doesn't exist now because it still thinks it's mine despite cancelling the pre-order.

So what do I do here?

Haven't received code for Dark Souls 1

On the 19:th, but I canceled my pre-order.

I understand it won't be playable through the xbox backwards compatibility anyway, right?

Sorry to hear about the cancelled pre-order trouble. When did you last reach out to phone support? It can sometimes take a bit before it becomes available to purchase again.

 

Okay did you get a Refund? If you got a refund and the game is ready to install, go to the Game Store on your Xbox One and see if it just says "install" and if this is the case and you call Microsoft they may just say keep it. I would contact phone support
first though.
