Hi there, when it sent a code to your email it would have been your second email that you've set up as a security proofs and not the one associated with your gamertag. Please follow this link and sign-in to view your security proofs and update them if necessary:

Microsoft NEVER allow anyone to cancel auto renew via the xbox website. YOU MUST contact support and cancel it over the phone so they can have a customer services rep try to convince you not to cancel.

@ Moz - Trust me, for anyone that lives in the UK cancelling via the account options on the xbox website DOES NOT WORK

Hi Cacky Birdlegs - You cannot cancel your monthly membership on the website, to cancel your XBOX Live Membership you have to call XBOX Support for your region and tell them to turn off automatic renewal, that will essentially cancel your XBOX Live Account.

Even worse, if you live in IL or some other country where not allowing users to cancel auto-renew online is illegal, the option exists on the website like it used to.

Not allowing online auto-renew cancellations isn't for some safety reason. It's not for security. It's not for convenience. It's there so it makes us jump through hoops just to stop them from autocharging your account.
