    Cancel part of an order?


    So, I managed to get my order in for the Series X this morning despite the MS site being a nightmare, and while hurriedly putting my order through I saw the part where it asked if you wanted to get and extra controller etc. I stupidly assumed it meant
    the new controller...but sneaky MS didn't mean that at all!

    I only realised when I received tracking info for it earlier. Anyway, if I send it back to Microsoft, will there system know I just want to return the controller, or will it think I want to cancel the whole order?

    I have tried to get through to someone but the waiting times at the moment are crazy! My other option would be to simply refuse the UPS order when the driver gets here, but that may also make MS's system think I want everything cancelled? Thanks for any advice

    Oh Dempup...sorry to hear that! The way MS handled orders this morning was atrocious. They advertise on TV about the power of Azure, but they couldn't even keep their website running smoothly. I hope they get more stock in so that you can grab one!!

    Good luck Steve. I got my order cancelled and got blocked from ordering again for a few days all do to the guy at support that was suppose to correct that the order confirmation had a random address on it, and not my set shipping & billing address, that
    is the only one i have on my account. I could even hear him say UPS! on the phone, while he did it... So no box for me!

    I've cancel my xbox series x order on here just don't know if I'm getting refund of my money back or not

    Nope no shipping from it it just says canceled only thing that shipped out of all of it was my xbox controller but xbox console was taking too long in pending that I decided cancel that part of the order so I wasn't sure if it's gonna be refunded

    Just to update Lofty's original thread it seems like there are indeed a fair few people complaining that their orders have been cancelled for no apparent reason, they had plenty of cash in account and correct details etc. They are also saying that they haven't
    had cancellation emails and only found out by checking the game order part of their account.

    Might be worth a look if you haven't already.
