Cancel of subscription

Dear Microsoft support!

I missed the deadline to cancel my subscription to Xbox-Game-Pass by a few hours yesterday. I would like to ask, if it is possible to cancel the subscription of the following month and return the payment.

If you cancel immediately, you lose access to the service for the remainder of your paid membership period.

You can cancel your Xbox subscription either immediately or by stopping automatic renewal.

If you cancel your Xbox subscription immediately, you’ll also lose access to the subscription service at the same time. If you stop automatically renewing your subscription, you can continue to use the
subscription service until it expires.

Hi there,

for a subscription it might be best to immediately cancel the subscription, that usually will show what will be refunded for the time that was remaining for the subscription.

If you cancel the subscription now you would lose all that time that you have on the gold subscription.

When upgrading to the Ultimate game pass subscription it combines the subscriptions into one subscription and if you cancel this subscription it cancels all of it.

It will have all the steps on how to stop/cancel a subscription.

Keep in mind that if there is an payment due, that will need to be paid prior being able to cancel the subscription.

Head to the Microsoft account page.

Find the subscription tab and locate the realm that you wish to cancel.

Select the "Manage Subscription" button.

Cancel the subscription.

Ensure the subscription is canceled and then close the page.
