cancel new xbox live subscription that i never wanted

I always used prepaid cards to extends my Xbox live as this is cheaper and gives me the control of when to activate the new year (sometimes i want to wait a few weeks before activating a new year of Xbox live). In the past i entered my credit-card data to
purchase games/dlcs but today i received an email they extended my Xbox live for another year which i do not want as i never used this way of Xbox live extending and i do not have the time to play any games on my Xbox at the moment (or in the coming months
for that matter).

How did this option get turned on and use a credit-card that is no longer valid (the credit-card has expired so in my eyes shouldn't even be working)?

And more importantly how can i get my money back as i don't want this subscription?

Hi Youri,

Just a heads up, I you were wanting to request a refund you will have to do so from our online webform. All levels of customer support no longer handles refunds and instead is handled by a dedicated refund team.

Follow this guide and it will lead you to the webform to request your refund. Make sure you have your order history up as you will need the order number of the charge you are requesting to refund:

To cancel auto-renew, or to cancel your subscription entirely, visit https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and sign into the email address you use for your Gamertag. From there, you can manage your subscriptions and cancel as you like.

Also, please reach out to Xbox Support over the phone, so they can look at refunding you. You can arrange a call back here, within operating hours, by filling in the simple form, and choosing a query in the 'Account' section: http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/contact-us

Thanks for the quick reply, thought those where the options as well, canceled the subscription and the auto-renew (as far as i know and i hope it stays off this time

).

I'll try the Xbox support over the phone when they are working again to see if i can get a refund.

hi Diego,

Is there a page for the refund for the dutch (nl-nl) region as well? as when i follow the steps i get a 404 page at the end.

I tried to use the search function but couldn't find a page for my region.
