Well MS PR responded by cancelling their press conference smh!

I strongly disagree with the way Microsoft is treating its customers by forcing us to call MS in order to cancel a a subscription - a subscription which is forced upon the customer, should he/she decide to pay for xbox live with the use of a credit card
(which is done online in the first place).

Not being the only company that requires a phone call to cancel a service is in no way an acceptable excuse.

I suspect that Microsoft gives us no other option of cancelling, hoping that customers will forget to cancel due to the unnecessarily time consuming and time limited (phone call opening times) option we are given, or that the customer might be swayed with
discounts or similar offers during the phone call.

This has been my only, and very frustrating problem with the xbox live system since the launch of the service.

In this case, all PR is not good PR.

Give us the obvious option of cancelling any subcription online, I am not alone in wanting this, not by far.

The creator of the game is a sensitive little wuss. Heard he canceled it after getting in an argument with some guy on Twitter or something. If you can't take a little PR then you really shouldn't be in the gaming industry.
