    Cancel GTA V DLC installation to play campaign offline?


    How can I cancel an installation when only option is "try installing again", and there's no pause/cancel option? It's a GTAV DLC update, my Xbox One is in offline mode and I'm trying to play single player campaign.

    Rockstar's online services are down and likely the reason for the problem. Is it even possible to play single player while disconnected?

    probs a silly question but, i need more 'storage' on my old 360 to play gta5 can i use a usb?

    I can't play GTA V because the the installation isn't finished

    I can't play GTA V because there isn't any installation, but it's not true because in category Installation everything is OK? What hapenned? What should I do?

    Was unable to edit OP. Update: Had unexplained connection issues before (console only, network was fine), but can now connect to my wireless network. The DLC seems to be downloading, but I'd rather go without for now. Now I can pause/resume the download,
    but the cancel option doesn't appear as shown here:
    support.xbox.com/.../pause-stop-download     ... Is there still a way to cancel a DLC download?

    GTA V online only or can be played offline?
    It can be fully played in an offline mode. It may require an internet connection to play, but you can play in the single player campaign.

    That's a good answer from the posters above me, but GTA Online will just be a free DLC that players will download and then play (of course, you still need the installed game and the game disc for GTA V).

    There's a singleplayer, but you cant play GTA V Online in an offline mode as it connects to the rockstar servers
