    You need to cancel auto renew before the date of renewal, otherwise you will pay again.

    my xbox live gold membership auto canceled?

    I have been a gold member for about a year now with 3 month auto pay, but today it says I don't have a gold membership?.. Does it auto cancel?

    If the steps are not working for some reason then contacting Xbox Support is the best option, they can cancel the subscription for you if needed.

    im being made to pay for a renewal when i have no money in my account it says to cancel my subscription i must pay....

    But i want to cancel i dont have money to pay for this new month they are charging me for why does it not auto cancel when payment fails? I refuse to pay for it cause im not gonna use it and want to cancel my membership completely

    Because if you pay, it will restart your subscription and then you will be charged unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel before then.
