    Cancelling pre-order games?

    Hi, as the Ambassador says you can cancel the pre-order by contacting Xbox support, I would recommend you call them by phone.

    Can I cancel a pre-order?

    Yes, before we release the game, you can cancel your pre-order by contacting Xbox Support.

    Just pre-order the game, get a code, then cancel the order.....

    I dont believe you can get a refund if you digitally preordered a game.

    You will want to reach out to Support in order to do this as it's not something which can be done on the forums.

    Note that you will want to choose "Chat with Xbox Support" or "Call Support/Request a Call from Support".

    How do I keep my digital pre-orders from being cancelled due to a delayed release date? Ex: Cyberpunk 2077

    The only way it would be cancelled, is if you cancel the pre-order. Just because a game gets delayed, does not mean your order would be cancelled.
