All i had told is, i am using it and please get the PSU from myservice.xbox.com

Yes but by mentioning that you used a transformer the op may have thought that it's ok to do so.

It's best not to mention things that are not recommended by Microsoft on the forums or if you do just also point out the fact that it's not recommended & you did it at your own risk.

I am not there for an unnecessary argument.

However when i tell my opinion or an experience, i am entitled to that opinion/experience.

People need not have to act on it. Here i have just told how did i Manage. Never told him to do the same.

However when i suggest a solution, yes you can tell that people might take it right or wrong. Here i never proposed a wrong solution. I have strictly told him please go and get $25 dollars, PSU. (Never told him to get a transformer). Thats all..

So next week il get a new PSU..So the case is closed.

Sorry but you should never use any kind of transformer or voltage converter with your console as it can cause no end of problems & if something was to go wrong it wouldn't be covered by the warrenty.

It does tell you this on a leaflet that comes with your Xbox One or in the manual with a 360.

So basically i had this issue

of US PSU...so these guys gave me option to return my current one and they l send it to any US or UK address..So i did not want to do that since, i will get into more complications regarding international shipment and all

FYI - i got it from US and currently running the same in US

As far as game play and using xbox live goes, no issues as such.

But some features like xbox music, some apps like net flix and all are not supported in india and hence its not available here.
