    Canadian TV apps are not currently discoverable


    Hi,

    Something happened recently with updates on X1. I've noticed the Canadian TV apps such as Rogers SportsNet, CTV GO, TSN, etc. are no longer discoverable. The only way to find and install them is through a link or to specifically search for them by name.
    And you guys really need me in the preview program lol!

    xbox one most needed apps

    For whatever reason apps found in the Windows App Store are not compatible with the Xbox One. I would have figured since they had this trove of apps available they would have made them compatible. But apps are coming. In regards to the setting the volume,
    that would require 2-way communication between the TV and Xbox. Currently the Xbox has no way of knowing what volume your TV is currently set. So your best bet would be (if this app existed) to set the TV at the volume before turning it off.

    Hi, is anyone able to respond to this thread? Is there possibly something wrong with my setup or is this an issue for everyone? Also, I has some audio issues with the SportsNet app playing all audio out the left channel. re-installing the app resolved the
    issue.

    Windows 8 XBOX Companion app refuses to connect.

    In your xbox's settings, make sure your xbox is discoverable/visible or the app will be unable to locate it.

    Yes it's all shared & discoverable.

    Just not streamable because of Microsoft's Security Update that's blocking Windows Media Player 12 to stream media videos on VLC on my TV.

    well unless it has 30% canadian content ,since its technically a movie/tv show.it will infringe apon our rights as canadians.

    its called the canadian content law.its there to protect us from the yankees .as well it promotes canadian art.so too bad.
