  1. Canadian Price error for Dragonball Xenoverse + Season Pass Bundle

This is actually not a question but a warning to Canadian customers:

It has come to my attention that the bundle for Dragonball Xenoverse + Season Pass for CAD store users is $94.99, this is $20 more than if you were to buy the game and season pass separately ($49.99 + $24.99 respectively only adds up to $74.99, not $94.99).

I have spoken to an Xbox support rep who has informed me the devs (BandaiNamco) are the ones that setvthe price, Xbox refuses to remove the incorrect listing until Bandai fixes it so beware that MS stillbhas a fraudulently priced game in the Canadian store.

US store appears to be unaffected.

This has been a public service announcement.

    Thank you for your time.

    :)

    Hey everyone,

I have joined some of you into this particular thread to more efficiently reach out and offer assistance to you all in one place. Thanks for having such detailed posts as it helps us understand what you guys are experiencing. Below I will offer some steps
you can follow to ensure you own the Season Pass.

    • What happens when you search for the
      Season Pass
on the Xbox One Marketplace? If you are seeing the word "Manage", you are a proud owner of the Season Pass!
    • You can also verify that you own the Season Pass by checking your purchases on commerce.microsoft.com.
If you can confirm you're seeing both the "Manage" button and Season Pass purchase on the Commerce site, I want to assure you that you're good to go! In the future, I would suggest keeping an eye out for Season Pass content to become available!

It's not fraudulently priced. It's stupidly priced but not fraud. It's also not the first time this has happened. It's good sense to check the prices of items individually before buying a bundle. I do that here on Microsoft's ecosystem, on Steam and
other platforms when I'm about to purchase something.

  5. What makes it fraudulent for me is that Microsoft have been made aware of the price issue, and refuse to remove the listing from the store until BandaiNamco fixes it.

They also made no effort to look further into handling refunds for any already affected customers who were overcharged.

    Big red flags for me.

It's good of you to share that with the community, as always it's good to check the pricing of other purchase options which will still allow you to get what you want.

For sure. The other issue is that even with price comparisons there can be issues.

Like during the current Black Friday deals the game + season pass is on for $23.75, which should be $18.75 if it was correctly priced, and the season pass isn't on sale for the Black Friday deals, so there could be other people taking advantage of the bundle
salenand still being overcharged by $5 :/

    Hello True,

As stated we don't handle the prices. All prices are set by developers and we publish them. there been a few times that prices have been like that. Only prices we have control over are ones for Microsoft items, not ones by other developers.

    Thanks,

    Brad

  10. I'm aware that you apparrently don't handle the prices, but I'm fairly certain you have authority over temporarily removing the incorrectly priced listing until BandaiNamco correct it.

Already anyone who has purchased this bundle is due a refund that would have to go through Microsoft anyways correct? So it seems Microsoft has some due dilligence to perform that is sorely lacking as far as I am concerned.
