    Canadian made games...


    July 1st is Canada Day (147 years strong!). My X1 is showing Canada Day specials (not really).... there is a Canadian made games section:

    -

    Fifa 14, Assassins Creed IV, Child of Light, EA Sports UFC, Watch_Dogs, Thief, Super Time Force, Outlast, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Dead Rising 3.

    -

    I can not say if these are Canadian made but if so.... WOOT!!!!

    Cannot buy perfect dark zero in Canada

    The game has not been made available for purchase from the Canadian marketplace. Not all games are available in all regions.

    Well, the main studio for Ubisoft is in Montreal...

    Mostly every big publisher got at least one dev studio in Canada: SquareEnix,Capcom,EA,Ubisoft,.....

    Yup, from what I hear, game devs get pretty nice kickbacks and benefits from having studios in Canada.

    More money, less taxes....

    So,in reality those company went in Canada because of special taxes....I guess the day when a country will have lower taxes and special bonuses,they will go over there.

    Ubisoft,which got a studio in France (Montpellier) receive a financial help from French governement and another one from Canada...
