    I pay with visa month to month for xbox live in Canada. its been 9.99 plus tax, what comes to $11.19 every month for 2 plus years. now this month April 2. I have been charged 11.99 plus tax $13.43 for 1 month gold? why? I made no purchases, this is for 1
    month gold.

    It looks like the information we are receiving from billing caused you to be labeled as Canadian, which is why we deposited into CAD for your account. Unfortunately, once Credits are deposited, we cannot take action on them. You may wish to reach out to
    billing support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) and have them investigate your account. This information reporting you with Canadian billing is also why your deposits have been failing; when we attempted to deposit USD from your US Rewards
    Account, into your Canadian billing account, the process failed. We have been working with another team on resolving deposit issues, which is why this deposit succeeded. We have no power over billable accounts, and cannot adjust your billing accounts in any
    way. Apologies for any inconvenience.

    Xbox One - Credit Card Problem With State/Province (solutions for those still having this problem)

    Issues like this should be dealt with with xbox billing support not on the website forums and not even in this subsection

    It would be accounts and billing though we still refer them to billing support

    I can tell you as an Canadian that an Canadian account can make Canadian purchases with an Canadian credit card without changing the locale of the website

    It is the region of your account that is the issue

    If you have an us account and physically are in the US then your only option. Is to use a us payment option

    As mentioned you need all 3 to match

    No, they shouldn't until canadian consumers stop paying at the current price point. But until then, MS can continue to charge since canadians continue to pay. The other more important reason is simply the Canadian dollar is NOT stably above par.
