Can your friends still use your account even though you changed your password?

I changed my email password that is connected to my Xbox one, can my friends that have my account on their Xbox still use my account even though I changed my password?

Just temporarily change your location from Canada to USA, buy some stuff on the store (at majorly reduced prices) then change back (if you even need to).

I'm in Melbourne but I use my account as Canadian all the time and buy Canadian codes off of a friend.

Change your location in Console Settings, then restart. It'll give you access to the US store where you can type in your codes for credit. Don't even need to input an address.

Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.Click to expand...

Right that is the point I was making, even if you pay 10 dollars to change your tag all friends and followers stay with you. Is there anyway to transfer all purchases and saves to another gamertag?

Your friends shouldn't be using your account in the first place as it's a violation of the ToU/CoC.

Unless you give them your log in details then they wont be able to access your account.

That's not true. If the account was set to auto-signin when it was first put on their console then they can still login even after you've changed your password. You can go into your settings though and enable one that says "Always ask for password when signing
in on any other console" (or something like that) to stop someone from logging in on another console though.

This can happen if you lend your account to a friend or family member. You shouldn't have to worry if you've already changed your password though.

Even with the no barriers once you change your password on your account ANY console that your profile is on the next time someone tries to sign into you account it will ask for the new password.

So if you changed your password and your account was on your friends console with a no barriers to sign in the next time your friend tries to sign into your account on his console it will ask for the new password.

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove your account from your friend's console remotely. In this case, I'd suggest changing your password and reviewing your account's security information to prevent unauthorized access to it.

Even though changing your password should be enough to prevent this person from accessing your account again, you could also set "Two-Step verification" for your account as an additional security measure. _______________________________________
