Is there any way to minimize or bring down your console ban from your Xbox one? I was only wondering because my account accidentally got banned permanently and they took it down and it went to a 2 week ban, but what I didn't find out was I got a console
ban! So I was wondering if there was any way to take it off or minimize it to a lower date. At the current moment it is a Temporary console ban that ends on the 1st of January in 2018.

    Thank You

    :)

    Can Xbox One do it?

No Xbox console features 'require' Kinect, it's just that Kinect makes access more streamlined. Game DVR, Record That, sharing to Twitter, everything works with the controller.

As mentioned Kinect makes multitasking more streamlined but this has also been improved with the controller now too. Snapping and switching between apps can be accessed with Snap Centre and the new Guide with a double-tap of the Xbox button.

The only thing Kinect is required for is obviously if you want to stream and have your mug-shot present, or if you want to power on your Xbox, TV, speaker system, freeview or Sky box, and control it all with your voice.

The Steam service is not on the console, it's just some of the titles previously on Steam are some of the ones that are available on the PS4 and Xbox.

Edit - There is no backwards compatibility.

What is this rumoured 'updated' Xbox One?

Best thing to do is check out the games and features and make your decision based on that.

There is no way to contact the enforcement team regarding console bans. You would have to wait it out.

Glad you love the game Boot61. Have you tried the DLC yet? Artorias of the Abyss. Worth every penny of the $15 asking price. Like MEGA MAN said, your age doesn't matter. This game was designed to punch your teeth down your throat. That's why we all love
    it. :)
