Hi

Is it possible to get Xbox Live Gold and get free games(games with gold) without Xbox?

I managed to pre-order Xbox and intend to get Game Pass Ultimate once Xbox is delivered. While waiting, if interesting game got released as games with gold, I was thinking to get Xbox Live Gold on 11th October and claim the games. I understand Xbox Live
Gold can be upgraded anytime to Game Pass Ultimate.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on subscription. This will work, just make sure you are using the account you will use on the Xbox console when you get it. You can redeem the games with gold on the Xbox.com website etc.

You need to use the account that has Xbox Live gold. The account without the subscription can only play multiplayer and use party chat.

Its a free game but it still uses parts of the Xbox systems, so you need a Xbox Live Gold connection to play it.

ie" when Xbox Live has problems, it makes it hard to play at time as it won't run without Live even if you are Gold.

Their is often deals that if you do a Xbox trial, then go Gold, you can get a free premo tank.
