can you use xbox 360 wired controller on microsoft gamepass?

cant really find the answer. people say third party wired controllers dont work. this is confirmed by my experience. does the original wired 360 controller work for all games?

It does but its treated as a rrgular gamepad

Its only usrd as xbox if you use the wireless offical ones

You can't, however you can use a WIRED Xbox 360 controller to play games on a pc as the drivers for the wired controller are built into Windows

To play on a PC with an Xbox 360 controller you need to get a wired controller. On Xbox 360 the "wire" is only used for charging on the wireless controller.

If you are not able to get one at EB games you can also use a Xbox wired controller to play PC games. if you plug in the wired controller and it doesn't load the drivers automatically you can get them here

If the Xbox 360 controller is a wired controller, then the controller can be used on the PC, just plug it in the USB port, and it should recognize it and let you use it. If it is a wireless Xbox 360 controller, then you will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows to connect the controller to your PC.
