I see that it is a cable that I have seen before (generic). Does this mean that I can use any cable that fits. I forgot to take my power cable with me and wonder if we have one that fits where I am. I am guessing the transformer is now internal (its a white
xbox s) so any cable that fits should work? I just dont want to damage my xbox because the cable is in some way special? I can't imagine so but don't also want to be glib. TY

Do I need anything else with my XBOX One S?

I just got my husband an XBOX One S bundle and it says on the box it comes with the HDMI cable and AC power cord, but I was wondering is there anything else I need to get for it so he can use it after he opens his gift. I've seen online about a Kinect adapter
and other items but didn't know if he HAS to have this before he can play the games. I don't want to be that person that buys the gift but not the accessories that you have to have to use it.

Technically the answer to your question "...any cable that fits should work?" is, Yes. Here in the US, any non-polarized 18 AWG (7 Amps) 125V AC power cord should work. However, Microsoft and the Xbox team cannot make any recommendations other than using
the AC power cord that came with your Xbox One S.
