Can you upgrade the internal storage of the xbox 360 s above 500 gb ?

500gb was the largest hard drive that was made for the 360. So the only other way to do it is, as you said, to mod the console which is not recommended.

That's a shame. Was hoping Microsoft would loosen the security on the hard drive at least seeing as the 360 has been officially discontinued. Thanks for the quick reply.

If you are referencing the Xbox 360 S 4GB internal memory then this option was not available on all Xbox 360 S consoles please see the link below and quoted text.

The Xbox 360 S 250 gigabyte (GB) console has an internal hard drive, which can be removed and replaced.

The Xbox 360 S 4 GB console has internal flash memory, which is not removable. The internal hard drive can be purchased separately.

To clear up the 500 gb hard drive, I have ruled it out, using on a friend's xbox 360. It is the slim s model. It seems to be a problem with the console's internal storage which is what it states in the reset prompt. When it resets, it isolates the storage, so any attempts to format or access it is impossible up front. I hope that this cleared up any and all confusion.

Rodrigo, the game size is 1.2 GB, and my Xbox 360 has 3 GB of internal storage (console storage) with an additional 140 GB free on the internal disk drive. Storage space seems sufficient for the game.
