    Can you update a 360 game using a flashdrive?


    I bought Halo Anniversary and after playing it for a half hour, I realized this is a crap remake with a lot of bugs. I was told that there are updates for games so I was hoping to try and see if an update would make the game playable for me.

    I have an old fat Xbox 360. I have never hooked it up to the internet nor do I have the capability to do that. My options are to see if I can somehow download the update for the game and transfer it to a flashdrive and then install it in the Xbox. I tried
    searching on the forums here but did not find anything to really answer this question.

    Game updates are delivered exclusively through Xbox Live. There is no supported way to download a game update separately and manually update it with a flash drive.

    You will have to connect your Xbox 360 console to the internet, in your case, with the ethernet port.

    So I downloaded a game from marketplace to my flashdrive, now how do I play it from my flashdrive?

    You can move certain items from your flashdrive (USB) to your Xbox 360 Hard Drive. Just follow these instructions:

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-games-data

    If you do not have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive, or you are out of storage memory, you should be able to access the game via the "My Games" tile (under the "Games" tab) on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Make sure your flashdrive is in your Xbox 360 console.

    That definitely sounds like a faulty flashdrive. The only answer I could suggest would be to use a different flashdrive. I personally use a SanDisk flashdrive (similar to the

    official Xbox flashdrive    , but cheaper
