    i just bought the ultimate edition of gears of war from xbox one and i seen a advertisement on xbox saying when you play it you can download the other 3 games for free, it said it ended at the end of 2015 but the advertisement is still up on xbox.com?, if
    so how do i download it

    I had purchased Gears of War 1 Ultimate Edition for Xbox One. When you play the game it is supposed to send download / redeem codes for Gears of War 2, 3, and Judgement. I have recieved the redeem codes for Gears of War 3 & Judgement within two weeks of
    purchase, but I have not reviced the Gears of War 2 redeem code yet, and it has been 5 months.

    You can still purchase gears 2 free this month as part of the games with gold

    You can purchase the other games 3 and judgement seperately

    Gears ultimate is the remake of gears 1

    No. You had to play by December 31, 2015 in order to qualify.

    Gears of War Ultimate edition console games not downloading.

    The Bundle ONLY comes with Gears of War Ultimate Edition.

    There was a promotion being run from August 25th, 2015 - December 31st, 2015. If you played the UE online during that time, you would receive download tokens for Gears 1, 2, 3, and Judgement.

    Since the bundle only comes with the Ultimate Edition, that's why you can't find the other games to download. If you played during the promotion, you should receive an Xbox Live Message with download codes for the original games.
