Can you share the same games on 2 different Xbox ones

I'm sorry but yes, you can only share your games and subscription with one other xbox console. The third and fourth one could also share when set up with a different microsoft account. This means when playing the same game on 4 consoles at once, you need
2 subscription and 2 copies of the digital version of the game you want to play.

You do know that DRM will be present on PS4 by publishers same as xbox? Plus on xbox you can share a game with friends, i think 10 and you guys can plays games not the same but different ones, so one person buys it, and its shared among the group

I'm in the same boat and only 2 xbox units can game share at one time.

This post did hurt my brain a little so i'll try and keep it simple.

All digital game purchases come with 2 licenses. One will be tied to the gamertag that bought it and one tied to the console.

Game sharing works flawlessly between 2 consoles only. Gold can only be shared between 2 consoles only.

That being said you can play games on a 3rd or 4th console if the gamertag which bought the game is signed into that console, however this will mean you won't be able to sign into console 1 or 2 with the same tag at the same time you are signed into console
3 or 4.

If you are planning to play simultaneously on 3 or 4 consoles with the same game which has only been bought once then its not possible.

I take it 4 different people are using each Xbox?

Also be careful as you can only change your home console 3 times in one year.

So if son #2 puts his account on son #1's xbox (in another city) son #2 can access the games on son #1s xbox?

Is that the "game sharing?" If so, that won't work since son #1 game shares with someone else.

So really this is why we should have been buying discs this entire time. Same price, different outcome.
