Account stolen

I was just wondering if anyone else has had their account stolen. I have a open ticket with Xbox Support. But I am looking for any other advice. I do not understand how the email on my sons account got changed and now we can not access it. Thanks in advance.

0x876c0002 error. Cannot pin games or apps

When I try to pin games or apps to the home screen I get the error 0x876c0002. I am the parent account. My child can pin with his account on the same xbox one. The only advice I have been able to find is to check network connections, do a hard reset on the console, and power cycle my router.

Is anyone else found a solution to this issue? One thread eluded that it might be that I am using two-step authentication on my xbox live account.

Thanks in advance. This has been going on since purchase last month. Meaning I have never been able to pin, but my son has.

Why would you have reason to think somebody else has had access to your account? Are there charges associated with it you didn’t authorize?

Hi there,

You can see what devices your account is on by going to
account.microsoft.com > Devices.

To see when your account has been accessed and from where, on the same site, you would look under Security > Recent activity.

Also did more testing. I'm able to get the freebies through the Xbox One on my same account. Can anyone else see Gotham Imposters available for free on the 360 that has gold?

The best thing to do here I believe, is see if you can call Xbox support and see if they can see if anyone else has used the console by tracking your gamertag.

If so then give the information to your local police office.

Sorry but if you cannot remember the details of your account in order to reset your password then there is nothing anyone else can do to help. Those details are kept strictly for your use and no one else has access to them.
