Can you save xbox 360 games OFFLINE on xbox one?

If you signed in with your xbox one profile on the 360 and it was that same profile then it would have just loaded up the saved games that were already there so I am going with this is an offline profile situation.

1. If this is an offline profile issue you would have to follow the link to make that offline profile an online profile.

2. Once that is done this would make a new account with a new profile on it for you with those game saves on it.

3. You can then load up that profile on the One and if you want to continue through those game saves then you would need to play on that profile.

There is NO way to move the saved games to your new profile. You are going to have to convert your xbox 360 offline profile into an online profile and you would not be able to use the current xbox one profile/account to do it.

If we're understanding correctly. Are you trying to access your Xbox 360 save file while disconnected from Xbox Live and unable to do this? Or are you unable to use your Xbox 360 save at all?

The way save files work in Backward Compatible is that they are stored on the cloud so that when you are connected to Xbox Live either on your own console or another. You'll be able to access that save file later. You can use this save file offline. In order
to do that though, you will need to put your console into Offline Mode.

Here are the steps to do that.
Use Xbox One Offline

Saves are saved locally to the hard drive, then sync to the Cloud. You still need Gold for Cloud saves on the 360, though you will not need Gold to save 360 games while playing them on your X Box One. So to import your 360 saves to your X Box One your would
have to buy a month of Gold on your 360.

The only way to transfer saves over is to upload them to the cloud via a 360 console, so your profile would have to be an Xbox Live one, not an offline profile.

So, I assume you would need to convert your profile, pay for Gold/Ultimate, then you can upload your saves to the cloud via your 360, then sign into that profile on your Xbox One and as you launch backwards compatible 360 games, the saves would automatically sync over Xbox Live.

I've bought a Xbox 360 Game by disc or as digital version and I know you need internet to download the Xbox 360 Games (even you've got the disc).

Still I don't get it why there is a xbox feature which you can play OFFLINE Games and save games locally if you need to be online at first place?

If I buy something as disc or digital and try to download a xbox game it should be checked or already known that I've got the "licence" to play that game.

For my point of view it doesn't make any sense that you need "permanently" internet connection to play Xbox 360/One "Offline Games" and save the game progress for "licence reasons".

In Xbox 360 it has never asked me for internet question before I can start/play an offline game (disc or digital version).
