    can you reset xbox 360 without deleting accounts?


    I want to reset the settings on the xbox 360 because I want to reset family settings, but I am afraid that if I do, all the accounts would be deleted. does it do this or does it not?

    Can you not just adjust family settings to suit your needs , or are you not the person who set up the family settings . To answer your question , re-setting the console back to factory settings will indeed delete everything from profiles to DLC , however
    , as long as the profiles have been connected to LIVE at some point you should be able to "recover profile" , and re-download any DLC associated with that profile . You may lose some achievements during this process .

    But if you reset xbox to factory settings and delete only the account without deleting games and applications, it will work for you.
