Store bought games not playing

make sure his account is signed in. like the others said try hitting the play button. if nothing happens or the game crashes try this. hard reboot the console. this has happened to me a few times. my wife and I have separate gaming accounts on our console but we can share games after they are installed. just have to make sure the console knows they are there. it sounds crazy but sometimes you just need to do a hard reset to clear the cache and close out some apps that get stuck open after use.

Game sharing not working

If you do have 1 "share" remaining and it's not working on your friends console have him do a console reset and then download the profiles again and try the Home Console feature on your account one more time.

Console reset - Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and Keep My Games and Apps

After the reset is complete and the profiles are downloaded, your profile should work now for that last home console reset.

the switches are for your home console only, sharing outside of your home is breach of the terms, you can only have one console as home console, you have to wait a year for them to reset.
