Can you reinstall a game that is no longer on your console

The game was on the Xbox game pass so I installed it, I later hoped on my xbox to play the game but all of my games were removed only from the external hard drive, I was able to install all the other games but by the time I got on my xbox the game had already been removed from the Xbox game pass and is now only availableon the xbox store and I was wondering if I could get it back with out having to buy it from the store.

I have an Xbox one if that is of any help

If it's no longer on Game Pass, then the only way to get it would be to purchase it. Even if you still had it installed, you wouldn't be able to play it if it's no longer on Game Pass and you don't own it.

If the game was on Game Pass, and no longer offered in Game Pass catalog, the only way to play it would be to purchase it from store.

If you already own it digitally, you can reinstall it from your Games and Apps. Otherwise, the game has been delisted so it is no longer possible to purchase it digitally and play it on a Series S.

Sorry to hear it. If the game was purchased on your account then please go to My Games and Apps then Ready to Install to reinstall it. If it is not there then give phone support a call to get it sorted. You can click this link to get the number for your

If the game was not purchased by you but was through game sharing and the shared account is no longer on your console then there is nothing you can do other than purchasing a copy yourself.

Install it from your library, not the store. Even if something is no longer available for purchase it, the purchase is tied to your account and you can reinstall it.
