Can you recover players that have been taken by a hacker

I have reported many players through my console...and I want to know which of my complaints have been handled to know if actions were taken or not. Or am I wasting my time?

Also, kudos to the OP of this thread for calling out the player. I want to know who these cheaters/hackers/modders are so I can immediately report them in a game BEFORE the game begins.

As far as I am aware, no. It's sad that COD4 has come to this, but this problem has been around for a long time and, to my awareness, has never been dealt with. COD4 is simply not popular enough anymore to garner any interest in either parties about returning
the game to it's former state.

If you see a hacker/modder on any game, whether it be COD4 or Assassin's Creed III, the best you can do is report the player and move on. Hopefully, some action will be taken against the player in the near future.

since the hacker can still get into your account when you change your password you need to

immediately call Microsoft, they should be able to track down the hacker and possibly recover any lost you have

I had an inquiry opened by microsoft to recover my account. Normally, I should get it back soon, the hacker having taken advantage of the money that was there on this account, the Microsoft procedure for the refund is the longest step.
