can you play xbox games without using a disc

recently my xbox one s broke and no longer reads discs. so now i can only play games i have digitally downloaded onto my xbox but i have tons of games that are discs that i want to play and i dont want to have to buy the game again to play that game on
my xbox. is there a way to play xbox games without the disc?

The only way would be to repurchase them digitally.

PRE DRM reversal, that was possible.. after they scrapped that mode.. NO.. you need the DISC anytime you want to play a game that was installed using that disc... and I think to be honest.. it has to be THAT disc..

You wont lose any functionallity with disc based games. If the game is an xbox play anywhere game and on game pass for pc, then you will still be able to play the games on the Xbox One without using the disc. When the games leaves game pass, then you can
use your disc to play the games.

If you purchase the games from the store, then you will not need the disc anymore, but you can still use it if you wish.
