Discus and support can you play xbox- cd's on windows 10 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; can anyone help me out .I would like to know if i can go to the store an by a game an play it on my laptop or am i just stuck with what is in the app...     can anyone help me out .I would like to know if i can go to the store an by a game an play it on my laptop or am i just stuck with what is in the app store. if i can play would it be 360 or #1 please help! thank you!

    Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

    Hi, Original Xbox and 360 and Xbox one Disc games do not work on Windows 10 (or any versions of windows for that matter) Now Xbox one games are going to be Playable on Xbox one and Windows 10 PC's (if you have game computer specs on your PC) and that is
    download only. Xbox one Discs will not work even with the Cross play.

    Now you can play Xbox Live games like Asphalt 8, Minecraft windows 10 edition /story mode edition, and other games that can be on windows 10.

    Xbox 360 Wont Rip CDs

    Using a PC, copy your CD onto your PC, then burn an Audio CD (as suggested above) using Windows Media Player, pop the burned CD into your XBOX and rip away.

    Ripping Retail CD's can't be done on the XBOX because they are DRM protected.

    If you do have a PC you can stream music to your XBOX (same with some videos)

    Remote play on Mac

    Since the remote play is truely a feature of Windows 10 playing on a mac without Windows 10 will not work.

    I can confirm however that running a windows 10 parallels VM will in fact let you play and stream the xbox from my macbook pro.
