Can you play the same game on game pass on different devices when the sub is shared?

the Game pass is related to your account and you can download your profile on any Xbox around the world. But you are only allowed to play on one device at the same time.

It is also possible to share your Game Pass sub with a family member on the second console, if that was the real reason for your question.

So really it's better to just buy 3 subscriptions

No you would need only 2 cause 1 sub can be shared.

Now the question is what version of game pass you need.

If the kids own the games they want to play online 1 Game Pass Core sub would be enough for them cause they can share it.

If you for example have a PC then you could take the PC Game pass.

Both would cost only 1 $/€ more than a Game Pass Ultimate sub.

But it depends on the devices you have and of how many games you want to play for free.

Hello, to share games you must be sharing your xbox console as home console. Everyone logged in on that console will share xbox live and any digital games download and some DLC when applable. Game pass ultimate can be shared also as long as the main account
owner who purchased it has the console set to XBox home then it can be shared. Play anywhere games are games that can be played on console, pc and phone if avail. Start one place playing and put up where you left off on the available electronics. Only thing
is PC and console are different when it comes to buying things. Pc game pass is not like XBox Game pass.

If you are using different Microsoft Accounts, its not possible to share one music pass, so you will have to buy a second.

Xbox Music does allow up to three seperate devices to use a pass, as long as the devices are using the same Microsoft Account, so if you shared the same Microsoft Account, you could share one pass.

Oh, if this is the family game pass, it's different, but what you will be able to share is just the game pass library and not the games that you own. I'm sorry for that.
