Can you play a digital game between 2 Xbox Ones on the same network?

If I have a digital game on my Xbox One, can my son play it on his Xbox One if they are on the same network? Like maybe if I am playing another game or watching Netflx of tv?

Let me give you the correct answer

if you buy a physical disc... you need that disc to play the game... so you can use any xbox... just not at the same time.

If you buy a digital version, it is possible to play that game on 2 different consoles at the
same time... within certain scenarios..

remember that your digital content that you buy on your gamertag are linked to your gamertag, so if you only play on Xbox #1, then you need to make Xbox #2 your "home" console, and anyone that signs into that console will have access to your digital content
and Live without you needing to be signed in, and your Xbox #1 will have access to all of your content once you sign into it.

 

Not only can they play it while your doing something else, but you can both play it at the same time, separately or together.

 

'Tis a great feature. Until my brother starts downloading random apps and I end up with them too. Pfft.
