    Can you only play Sea of Thieves on the Xbox-app on Windows 10?


    Hello!

    When I try to log into my Xbox account on the app, it says "Something went wrong". I have tried to change password and make a new account, but nothing works. Is there any other way to play Sea of Thieves then the app?

    You're trying to play Sea of Thieves on Windows 10 PC, correct?

    If so, on your Windows 10 PC, if you go to Settings>Apps>Xbox app>Advanced Options>Reset.

    Next, making sure you're signed out of the Xbox app and try signing back in to launch Sea of Thieves via Xbox Game Pass.

    open the windows store and search sea of thieves, see if one of them will let you download. as windows 10 xbox app uses the store to download.

    Hello EirikThomassen,

    Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning if you need Xbox Live Gold in order to play Sea of Thieves on Windows 10.

    The Windows 10 version of Sea of Thieves     does not require the subscription to play it. Although, using online multiplayer features for Xbox games requires Xbox Live Gold. The link we provided explains more about the game. We hope this information helps!
