Can you not quote or edit posts?

I know this isn't a X1 related topic....but I can't find on how to quote a random person and I don't see how to edit my own post....which are very basic things on a forum.

Am I just blind?

He must not know how the forums work here then. You only get about 5 minutes or so to edit your posts after making them.

There....you just said you edited my quote. By your logic I didn't edit it....I just left out the stuff that makes the bulls**t false.

Edit is hiding inside the 'Moderate' drop down.

 

When you edit a post, you also now have to give a reason as to why you're editing it.

 

Geek how was dead island? I wanted to dl but mehh.

 

I can't do any of that stuff. Moderate only gives me the option to flag/spam and theres only 2 places to be able to use rich formatting....at the beginning and at the end.

Theres no place to plug in the reply under the persons post.

For the person who said same as before, how do you quote some one who is not the OP? there is no reply button to anyone else so no way to quantify you are replying to them?

It doesn't appear to exist anymore so I guess they decided to remove it for some reason in the update. It used to be so easy and I think they used to have all the formatting options for if you wanted to quote random people etc before the update. What I've
been doing now is quoting the op, replacing the name, and then copy and pasting what I wanted to quote into the formatting. It's really inconvenient. I took the survey in the forum feedback section and asked to have it back.

 

Edit posts by clicking moderate on your own post. You are given options to edit, or delete, your post as well as report it.
