    So, before I changed from Preview Alpha to Preview Alpha Skip Ahead, i only had the old Microsoft Edge app.

    The new Microsoft Edge app has now appeared, and when you type something in the search bar it instantly searches. The old version used to navigate my link and bring me to the microsoft store.

    You see, the reason i ask, is ever since i got a Series X, i lost a special test build for a game with the developers, and the only way to get it back is by navigating the "deep link" way with Microsoft Edge.

    Using the old microsoft edge app it brings me to an empty page on the microsoft store, and i was hoping that possibly with the new version of the app, i could navigate the link and possibly find the game again.

    Im sorry if this doesnt make a ton of sense. Ive been without access to this games test build for about 6 months now, and this "work around" was only discovered recently, and i still cant seem to get it to work.

    Alpha skip ahead I'm currently in beta just think it would be cool to be able to help at the cutting edge of new development

    Fill out a detailed report, giving make and model of headset you use and send it to the development team.

    I am in Alpha Skip ahead and sometimes get these issues. You could try backing out of the Insider program, to a public build and seeing if things work.

    Remember Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead are the cutting edge OS builds and can be full of bugs.

    If you're in preview alpha or alpha skip ahead, search for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and you should be able to join.

    The "new" Edge is currently only available to Alpha Skip Ahead Insider preview members.

    Insider issues are handled by Reddit Xbox Insiders forum. This forum is for General release OS issues.

    Edit.. As of 22nd July "new" Edge is available to Alpha, Beta, Delta Insider previews so it is getting closer to a General release.

    The *new* Microsoft edge won't allow websites to play audio.

    The "new" MS Edge is only available on Xbox console to Insider Alpha Skip Ahead preview ring at the moment. Check Reddit Xbox Insider about similar issues others are having with "new" Edge. This Forum is for General release issues.
