Can you merge old accounts with your new one

It's not possible to merge accounts and nothing can be transferred between accounts. You would either need to sign into your old one and continue using it instead of the new one or vice versa.

No. Nothing can be transferred/merged between accounts, but you can set the new console as the Home console for the old account and share the game with your new account.

you can move your old account from your old console to the new yet you have to sign in for a live account with it and since you already are using that email address it will require another one. Actually there is no possibility to merge your accounts so you
have to choose one and replay the games again for the achievements.

There isn't a way to transfer your old items/account to your new Microsoft Account. What do you mean when you say you transferred your security settings from your old account to a new account? You can change the email/info of your Microsoft Account,
but your old Profile is going to be tied to that old Microsoft Account, and there are no ways to merge or migrate that data.
