can you mass message recent players yet? or did they completely remove it?

I hope that never comes back. I cannot stand receiving stupid random messages from some random player I played with recently. It drives me up the wall.

I don't really want it to come back either, not that it overly bugged me when I got a recent players message, but I most certainly did ignore them every time so I won't miss the option.

What I will say is this - anyone who's still using "M2AF" on the Xbox One apparently doesn't know how useful the relatively new feed system works for doing exactly that. I used to send M2AF messages at least once a week (and have lost a few friends as a
result); now I don't need to because I can have you guys just check your activity feed to see it since I can post it there. In addition, I don't even need to send it to any recent players (not that I ever did in the 1st place). Now, I have my followers for
that. ;P

if the m2af feature returns im sure ms will allow you to turn off mass messages.... probably and the feed system, aka friend activity not everyone looks at it

O well I guess they removed it, yay at least I shouldn't have to put up with randoms who go into recent players list sending come join me ow you're cute or Party Invites. They would have to decipher the Windows 8 style UI.

@Undead, do you have a website for your community? (not looking for name, just a yes or no)

@GG without reading the T&C, I would assume that advertising of any sort is against the rules, sending out massive messages advertising a community to random people who the user who has simply crossed paths, should be against the rules. Maybe if the OP did
some research they would be able to find a proper method to advertise their community and get some real valuable coverage.

If I was interested in a community, I would do what most people do, and do some research, I wouldn't expect to be spammed with it, which IMO simply lowers the value of the community.

Theres a big difference in people sending messages to a small group of players to fill a lobby, and sending messages to fill lobbies, meet and play games, which is what the messaging system is intended.

(Note to self, pass on Nigeria relatives/Lottery letters to GG and the OP as they would be more appreciative of it)

So, wait... If I spam a message to a hundred people hoping to get a community event together where a bunch of complete strangers can get together, socialize, have fun and make whole new friends, you'd call that rubbish and report me in the hopes I'd get
a bad reputation, Davey? That's harsh... And completely defeats the purpose of Xbox Live. No wonder people fear their reputation taking a hit.

Now, if it was a for a modded CoD lobby or something, that I could understand...
