    Can you make the "See the Future" achievement unlock?


    I'm kind of ticked off that the last achievement I need can only be unlocked by using smart glass and you no longer support the function of it, so... Do you think unlocking it for people would be a reasonable fix?

    See the future achievement bug on backwards compatibility

    hey I was advised to post here by your chat support team regarding this achievement.

    it seems now that it is impossible to unlock and is now unobtainable via backwards compatibility

    the xbox 360 smartglass app doesn't connect to the xbox one and the xbox one version of the app doesn't show any options for a companion like the 360 would do if it connected

    Smart glass to my knowledge still works with both consoles. Is there something I'm missing here?

    Their is another post about the smart glass were a support member confirmed it was no longer being supported. Unless they lied and I just have extrememly terrible luck connecting.

    No, since you earn the achievement offline, there is no "timestamp". I have no idea why they chose to do this, but it's most likely because you can change the Xbox's time and date to whatever you want while offline. It would not make sense to unlock an achievement
    on 12/12/12 since that's in the future...

    As for now, the achievement unlocking system has changed a bit. Everything is performed server-side. So if you "unlock" achievements whereas you are offline, they will be unlocked the next time you connect to Internet.
