Can you have more than one profile on xbox live??

I need help. 3 kids, one xbox live account. Can they all have a separate account, and how do I set that up?? Any help will be most appreciated cheers!

Having 2 xboxs.....

You can also now have your profile on more than one xbox at a time, if that helps

Using Xbox live for everybody

If you are like me... You might have a sibling you have more than one profile on your Xbox too save your games under. Why can I only log into Xbox live under one profile???

Just to add, on the xbox one only one person on the console needs have have a gold account the other people will get access to gold from that one persons subscription.

Yes, you can have more than one Xbox Live accounts to one xbox. Just be sure to manage which ones you sign into if you have features like auto sign-in in place.

Can you clarify what happens your son tries to sign into their profile with a second controller? Is there an error message you receive when you try to sign in or are you just trying to use a guest account?

thanks for the response, when he powers on the second controller and presses the xbox button - it's like I have pressed the xbox button on my controller - there is no option for him to sign in just to sign me out - no error messages
