Can you have a xbox one X and Series X both as a home console

ok thank you, I was trying to find out because it will possibly make my decision on whether to trade in my xbox one x towards the series x or keep it. because if we are allowed to have them both listed as home consoles I can move one into my sons room
so his account can still access the subs on mine since it would also be listed as a home console, and then home console on the series X in the living room for everyone else to still access my subs. if we cant have them both listed as Home consoles probably
will just get rid of the older one X, as definitely not going to buy to subs for the same house

If you made the series x your home console then you need to be signed in online with the one x as you can only have one home console at a time

Yep. I have both my daughters using my old Xbox One X (which is setup as my home console) while I play on my Series X. Works a treat.

So basically you will have to make his xbox one your home console and he can remain on his console and his profile to download your games and Xbox live

For your series x however doing this you have ro sign into xbox live to use your content

You cant change your home console more then 5 x a year

So it's best to sign I'm everyone online on your series x

I guess that is different for anybody. If you have the One S you could wait for the Series X. If you can afford it you could or there is a great deal I would pick both consoles. I have the One X and will preorder the Series X as soon as it is possible.
