Can you gift a friend on Xbox movies and tv shows?

I have checked the TV and movies selection on Microsoft Store itself and it looks like there is no option to buy them as a gift, jjch102296.

As a workaround, I would recommend buying an Xbox Gift Card that you can give to a family member or a friend so they can buy any movies directly on their account.

Please note that the person that you will be gifting this time needs to be in the same region as you.

Sadly gift cards can not be used to buy xbox 360 games. You can use gift cards to buy xbox games, tv shows and movies through microsoft tv and movies. Really wish there was a way to combine the 360 marketplace with the xbox store. The only other way
you could play fable instead of buying the disc would be to sign up for xbox gamepass.

Yes you can watch tv shows and movies on tv and movie apps on your xbox as long as it's current or NEXT GEN not legacy consoles

As far as I know, they are the same. On the official site it says:

You can get the latest apps, games, movies and TV shows on Xbox, top games and apps on Windows, and Surface, Xbox, and accessories from Microsoft Store online.
