Can you get your gold subscrition that you have pre-bought back after you cancel your xbox...

when you upgrade to game pass ultimate is specifically states before selecting ok that it will convert any gold time remaining into gamepass ultimate, when you cancel it cancels the lot, you will need to contact support directly to see if they can assist.

If you have Ultimate you have to cancel it first. Wait until 05/17/20 before you do that because if you cancel the Ultimate subscrition it will be at the moment you do it. If you do it know you will loose the already paid time. After you cancel it on 05/17/20
you could set up your Gold subscription again.
